Actually, throughout OC ReMix’s history, we’ve had 3 submissions judges who have not been musicians (I’m currently one of them). One of them, Antonio Pizza, actually later went on learn how to make music under the guidance of Disco Dan and others in the community and later got a ReMix posted to OCR. VGDJ, OCR’s podcast, has since gone on hiatus, but I plan to eventually resurrect my own radio show, VG Frequency, as OCR’s new podcast in the near future.

Nonetheless, a nice read, and a good introduction to the VGM community. I’m glad to see someone like myself who likes to explore around the VGM community to see what diversity is out there. Thanks for enjoying OC ReMix, Amanda, and I hope you’re checking it out for new ReMixes!

Hahah, I get you completely – I cannot play games online purely because of all the ridiculously good people that spend their entire lives online playing (case in point, I owned a little at Albatross 18 in my day, but I’ve regressed a bit now and work is taking precedence)

I think you can be proud that FPS means anything to you as a genre, since girls and FPS are pretty much like oil and vinegar to start with.

I gave up playing counterstrike about 5 years ago when they tweaked the physics so my patented spray and pray method held no flak anymore. The only game I’ve played a little online is UT2004 since it is awesome even if you’re a little bit crap. (oh, and the crateDM mod is hilarious)

If you’re looking for a thinking persons FPS, then why not try some of them that are more geared for single player mode such as Half Life 2 (tres awesome) and Farcry (tres hard)

Alternatively, give up on FPS altogether and play Albatross18 instead.

Incidentally, yes, Seiken Densetsu 3 is good, but SoM was better in many ways…

Heya – thanks for the mention in your blogroll – always honoured to be included ^_^…Your “to watch” list is definitely good (all the shows are worth watching), but your “don’t care to finish” list is outrageous! You didn’t want to finish Yami to boushi to hon no Tabibito????

But it’s so shiny and pretty!

Definitely finish the Read or Die OVA – it is teh awesome.

Also, I don’t see Code Geass amongst your “to see” – gathering by your taste in anime, you’ll definitely like it. For more bloodage, see Higurashi no naku koro ni, and a current rather good couple along that line is “Murder Princess” and DARKER THAN BLACK.

Aand, thats about it. Hope that helps some
